The Dundas Studio Tour is Down to Earth – Saturday, September 29, Sunday September 30

The Dundas Studio Tour runs Saturday, Sept. 29 and Sunday, September  30, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day in studios in and around Dundas.  There are 8 studio locations and 30 artists.  Admission is free.

Horse Rescue Ontario Family Open House

Interval House of Hamilton Room With a View 2018 Special Request

In 2017 Interval House of Hamilton Shelter was at over capacity with one month being at 130%. More than 90 woman and over 84 children stayed in the emergency shelter. In 2018 we are looking to our corporate partners through a program called ‘Room With A View’. This program supports the personal needs of the women and children in our community who are fleeing violence and abuse. The sponsorship of one bed at the Shelter is $3,000 for the year or $250 per month.

Ballet Jörgen’s Hanna Mae Cruddas on CHCH Morning Live

In what has become an annual tradition Ballet Jörgen is once again performing the holiday classic The Nutcracker; a Canadian Tradition at FirstOntarioCentre on Saturday, December 9th a 2 pm. The ballet is also celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.  Dancer Hanna Mae Cruddas spoke to CHCH’s Tim Bolen about the performance.

Fall Masquerade Ball

Sheraton Hamilton Hotel Chef takes part in Fall Masquerade Ball – The Sheraton Hamilton chef is preparing some amazing gourmet foods for the upcoming Fall Masquerade Ball on Thursday, October 26th in support of Interval House of Hamilton.

A Night at the Opera

Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice presents A Night at the Opera, fashion show on Thursday, October 12th at Michelangelo Banquet and Conference Centre.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m., tickets are $75.00 per person. Drives for Lives to Support Interval House of Hamilton

Interval House of Hamilton (IHOH) is holding their 15th annual Golf Tournament on June 7th, 2017 at Century Pines Golf Course in Flamborough.

All proceeds from Drives for Lives go directly to assist women with or without children who are experiencing abuse or violence.  IHOH provides emergency shelter, legal advocacy, counselling as well as prevention and education programs. Last year, the shelter was at a daily occupancy rate of 103%. Each year, IHOH must raise more than $500,000 above government funding and grants to ensure that the programs and services are …
