SAY YES to the ECOPARK! Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark Campaign in Dundas

By February 28, 2013No Comments

Hamilton Conservation Foundation, the HCA and its partners are raising funds to naturally restore the Desjardins Canal lands and help develop a 1,346 hectare urban park stretching from the Niagara Escarpment to Cootes Paradise right in the backyard of McMaster University.

If you enjoy the Dundas Valley, Spencer Gorge or Borer’s Falls, then you will love Hamilton’s newest urban ecopark.

Over the coming years, this will be the largest acquisition of natural lands in Hamilton since students, community and governments came together to ‘Save the Valley’ (the Dundas Valley) in the 1970’s!
